I am delighted by the fact that “Weird Al” has released new work … I find him clever, talented and inspirational. Not only was he a guest voice and character on my favorite cartoon “My Little Pony” last season, he kicked his new album off with a parody of one of my favorite new tunes.
You can learn more here.
In addition to “Tacky”, a parody of “Happy”, “Word Crimes” is a parody of “Blurred Lines” about folks who abuse grammar and spelling. I think this is a must-buy album. You can learn more by listening to his interview with NPR regarding parody in the era of YouTube.
And keep an eye out for the release of my website, folks. Should you like a Tarot or tea leaf reading, please let me know. You may make a purchase at my shop.
Thanks for the read.
