I was a big John Green fan years before his book, The Fault in our Stars came out. It’s now a fantastic film. It’s the first movie I have gone to with my to-be husband for about a year. The first movie that isn’t animated or musical that I want to purchase since being a teenager. And many sniffles were heard in the theatre.
It’s not the easiest, breeziest story.
One of its many profound themes is that of wanting to feel like you can accomplish something in life. And unfortunately, circumstances limit this sense of purpose, to where one character says to the other, “You are so busy being YOU that you have no idea how utterly unprecedented you are.”
Another favorite quote: ““The world is not a wish-granting factory.” If it were, one wouldn’t spend much time with Tarot and tea leaf readers, and this image wouldn’t be too funny:
Though I can’t grant wishes, a Tarot and/or tea leaf reading can help produce steps to help your wishes come true. Or give you visual ways of coping with life’s let-downs. Or provide thoughts on getting through grief. I’ve even looked at tea leaves for a woman seeking help with a life transition.
Thanks for the read.
